I believe I received the wrong part for the Lomart Sand Filter (Spectra2, model 1-2165-089)

that I ordered on Aug. 10. Order 89277.

The exploded filter components view for the Spectra2 at your website shows the hose adapter as a larger (2 inches) threaded piece (No. 35) that screws into the valve assembly and to which you attach hoses at the smaller end (http://lomart-parts.com/1-2165-089.htm).

What I received looks like a hose adapter to connect two hoses. It has no threads and is about the same size at each end, only slightly tapered at one end. The O rings I ordered that go with it are the correct ones for what the exploded view shows -- the larger screw-in hose connector.

I've enclosed photos of what I need and what I received.

Please let me know how you wish to handle this problem
